Q: What is your fav holiday?
A: I think my fav holiday was last spring festival. I went to Sanya with my best friend and we lived in Hilton and we ate many delicious food there. And we also fishing in the sea.

Q: What do you think about mid-autumn festival? Do you like it?
A: I think I like mid-autumn festival because it is a good festival to stay with families. It represents getting together and we also can eat many kinds of moon cakes. I often send moon cakes to my friends, teachers, families, and colleagues. It is a good way to improve the relationships with people. What’s more, we can also appreciate the beautiful moon at the night of mid-autumn festival.

A: I think I like mid-autumn festival because we get to stay with families. I get two days off from work to go back home to my parents. It represents getting together/reuniting with families and we also can eat many kinds of moon cakes. My favorite kind is the egg-yolk. I often send moon cakes to my friends, teachers, families, and colleagues. It is a good way to improve the relationships with people. What’s more, we can also appreciate the beautiful moon at night/in the night of mid-autumn festival.

Q: Do you feel that we have too many holidays right now? Do you like holidays?
A: I think there are actually many holidays right now, but some holidays that we don’t take it and we also can’t rest in this holidays. For example, as for “qi xi” holidays, there is no rest and we also need to work. Sometimes I don’t have the time to accompany with my boyfriend. But I think it can represent some days different, I will be feel a little bit happy about that. So I think I love holidays, because we can do something romantic or happy things on the holidays. For example, we can celebrate this holidays for hang-out, cooking dinner and choosing some restaurant to eat. And it will create some happy memories for me. I think it is really meaningful.

A: I think that even though there are lots of holidays right now, like… the three Valentine’s Days, Christmas, New Year’s, Chinese New Year’s... but some holidays we don’t really celebrate and we also can’t rest in these holidays/and don’t get any time off from work. For example, for “qi xi” holidays, which is the Chinese Valentine’s Day, we get no rest and we need to work like usual. So sometimes I don’t have the time to be with my boyfriend/keep my boyfriend company./Since my boyfriend’s job is less busy than mine, sometimes he has time off during these holidays, but I don’t. So we can’t be together and it makes me disappointed to see other couples celebrating, but we can’t. But I think, nevertheless, holidays can represent some special, different days, I will feel a little bit happy about that. I love the holidays when I get time off, because we can do something romantic or happy. For example, my boyfriend and I can celebrate these holidays by hanging out, cooking dinner and choosing some restaurant to enjoy/go to. And it will create some happy memories for us. I think it is really meaningful.

Q: Do you remember your first day at your university?
A: The first day I went my university was on autumn. I remembered it is a hot day. My father sent me to the university and when we arrived there, a student helped me to take my luggage to my room. I was very interested in the environment of the university.

Q: Was the environment different from your high-school?
A: It is very different from high-school, because the environment of the university is bigger and more beautiful. There are large grass fields and gardens in the university and there is a river across the university. There are some gyms for students to exercise. <— But I didn’t go because I’ve always been lazy. but I know that my roommates use these gyms regularly. And there are many conference rooms for students and teachers to use. There are two libraries in the university. We could do our homework or read books there/in them. The environment of the library is very quiet and clean. It is a good place to study. Sometimes for preparing the important tests, I will find a quiet in the library to study. I have a favorite corner that I always like to go to. I find that I can study very efficiently there. When I’m in my dorm room …. my roommates …
