Vocabulary

phrase – a few words used together, sometimes making a new meaning

eg: “What’s up, is a common phrase to say, hello what is happening.” “See you later, is a common phrase to say bye.”

subsidiary – a company owned by another larger company

eg: “Converse ia a subsidiary of Nike.”

redundant – repeat some information that was already said

eg: “Saying more bigger, faster, smaller, is redundant because bigger means more big.”   more more big?

converse was owned by nike (nike sold converse)    simple past tense, finished

Original –

I joined a sports company three months ago and hope I could stay until the day I retired. if you ask why, I should say this company have many attactions for me. eg, line manager style ,working environment,position etc. However,the most key factor is this is a sports company. If the indusrty of company or the company products is what you really like, it will bringswhas you energy，interest during the work,you will have more passion to do well. I like sports. I watched football match since in senior school.I exerised karate for three years.Before I have babies,I often went to gym for NTC,Zumba classes,and running with my coach and friends around the century park every Sunday morning.In this company,it also provides employee free courses,free sports venues ,and we can get product coupon every month,that is why l love it.

Correction –

I joined a sports company three months ago and hope to stay until I retire.(v). If you ask why, I would say this company has many attractions for me. For example management style ,working environment and a good position. However, the key factor is that it’s a sports company. If the industry  or the company products are what you really like, it will motivate you to do well. I have been into watching football matches since high school. I practiced karate for three years before I had babies. I often went to the gym for the Nike Training Course, Zumba classes,and running with my coach and friends around Century Park every Sunday morning. This company also provides free employee courses, free sports venues and we can get product coupons every month, that is why l love working there.

Explain why you left your last job. Be polite! don’t say bad things about your last company.
