Domestic violence against women is a crime that occurs behind closed doors, which affects women all countries and from all backgrounds.  According to World Bank data, women aged 15-44 more at risk from rape and domestic violence than from cancer, car accidents and war. However, only half the women suffered from domestic violence find any recourse in their country’s justice system, which probably because victims shy away from talking openly about domestic violence. From my point of view, I thought the most likely reason was that victims are too afraid to fight back after long years oppression, in other words, the victims have been brainwashed. A number of surveys illustrate that domestic abusers didn’t beat their wives all the time. Normally they abuse their wives after that they speak sweet words to battered women. Female basically recognized as emotional creature are easily forgive the abusers, the men who they fell in love with. Once I saw a man on the overpass dragging a woman who was screaming but no passby stop them. The justice system  and more organizations should be built to protect victims to get rid of families and overhaul their life.
