My favorite time of day is nightfall. For me, it’s one of the most beautiful and changeable moments of a day. In sunny days, when the sun goes down, the cloud spreads the whole sky, turning from pink to red. Even the air smells clearer than that during the daytime. In rainy days, it’s not easy to take dusk from other cloudy moments of a day. When skylight becomes darker and artificial light is gradually on, that can be a hint which tells you a nightfall is coming and also leaving.
Nightfall is always too short for us to catch and chase, that makes it more beautiful and cherished for me.

On rainy days, it’s not easy to notice/be aware of dusk from other cloudy moments of a day. When the light of the sky becomes darker and artificial lights gradually flicker on, that can be a hint which tells you nightfall is coming and also fleeting/passing swiftly/vanishing quickly.
Nightfall is always too short for us to appreciate/revel in, that makes it more beautiful and cherished for me.
