obviously, the professional guy didn’t do his homework. He just chose the difficult ways to climb, through which, he thought he could get a high score. Also, he just took a girl to help him record the score instead of cooperating with another climber.
The two amateurs bent over backwards and almost lost their minds to complete every route which was picked by the coach, while the professional teased them.
At last, as everyone hoped, they beat the professional guy and won the championship. At the after party, people were dancing, drinking and laughing. In the next scene, the music stopped and we saw the professional reading a book by himself in his camper/RV.
The story told us that everyone likes the weak beating the strong/giant. However, determination and willpower is not enough for a “tortoise” to beat a “hare”. You should be prepared enough, have a good coach and a little luck.

Another film from Banff Mountain Film Festival, which talked about a graduation travel of four crazy young men, who ride wild horses across America to tell people that the wild horses are useful and we should protect them.
It was a tough trip that they overcame a lot of barriers and lost a horse on the way, meanwhile, they met an old cowboy, who told them a lot of his stories, and they picked a funny donkey, who also held on until the last.
It’ crazy trip which remind me another film called “The motorcycle dairies” which talked about a graduation trip of Guevara. They are tried to find the meaning of life through the trip before they have to face this world, weather they have found or not, they had their amazing memories which are important for their rest of life.
