Vocabulary

Countrywide – across the whole country

Headquarters – Main office

Syllable – 音节

Frequency – how often something happens

Grammar

“Neither” is used like “too” but in a negative sentence.

Ex. I don’t like the rain! Me neither!

To show frequency, we can use “once” or “twice,” but if the number is more than two times we should say “three times,” “four times,” etc.

Its vs it’s

It’s = it is

Its = belonging to it

Pronunciation

Workaholic (werk-o-HALL-ick)

Sunny Day (Make sure to pronounce all three syllables, it is different than “Sunday”)

Etc. OR Et cetera (et-CET-ra)

I really like cats, I often see cats’ pictures online. If I see a cat just stay a place and doing nothing, that will be say it is thinking about it’s life. If I also have a little free time, I think about my life too.  Recently I was very busy, because I think I don’t have much time to waste. I decided to learn English ten years ago but until now I couldn’t speak it very well. Luckily, I realized my problem and I’m doing something for it. I think about my life because I read an article about life several days ago. The article’s title is ” think about you will be after five years “. This article really shocked me and gave me some elicitation. It told us a woman’s goal, the woman imagine a picture about herself, after fives she will wear, what’s the hair style, what car she drive, annual income, where, do what and with who. After fives years, she is the really person she has imagined. It’s an inspiring story. I need to learn something from it.

After five years, she is the real person she has imagined. It’s an inspiring story. I need to learn something from it.
