Meal prep – the 2nd round

Two weeks ago, I was forced to do a meal prep by my wife. She found a healthy meal recipe online and she decided to try it out. My wife is curious about everything, doing it immediately and no one can stop her. We spent over 3 hours on meal prep, including shopping and cooking time. After that, I told my wife that I would never do that again, because it costed too much time, which we could spend on more meaningful things, like reading, writing, studying English, etc.
My wife was a little frustrated after I told her about my thoughts. I don’t want to disappoint her, so when she ask me to do meal prep again, I couldn’t rejected her. We almost did the same things, shopping, preparing and cooking, but this time, I didn’t feel annoying and time wasting, but a happiness and satisfaction about that we can do one thing together and see a great result at last(my wife lined the meal up and shared the picture of it.)
We will do that every week, at least, until the end of this summer. But the problem is the recipe. We have only one healthy meal recipe, actually we cooked the same meals at last two weeks. I tried to find some new ones online, and even refereed to the recipes of the fitness restaurant, but they can’ t need our requirements (taste, cost, ingredients, eat.). I will keep finding them, and try to cook different meals every weeks. Maybe we can start up on it

Meal prep – the 2nd round

Two weeks ago, I was forced by my wife to meal prep. She found a healthy recipe online and she decided to try it out. My wife is very determined to try new things and no one can stop her. We spent over 3 hours on meal prep, including shopping and cooking time. After that, I told my wife that I would never do that again, because it took too much time, which we could spend on more meaningful things, like reading, writing, studying English, etc.
My wife was a little frustrated after I told her about my thoughts. I don’t want to disappoint her, so when she asked me to meal prep again, I couldn’t reject her. We almost did the same things, shopping, preparing and cooking, but this time, I didn’t feel annoyed and it wasn’t a waste of time. Our happiness and satisfaction about what we can do together is rewarding. My wife lined the meals up and shared a picture of it.
We will do that every week, at least, until the end of this summer. But the problem is the recipe. We have only one healthy meal recipe, actually we cooked the same meals over the last two weeks. I tried to find some new ones online, and even referred to the recipes of a fitness/healthy restaurant, but they don’t meet our requirements (taste, cost, ingredients, etc). I will keep looking for them, and try to cook different meals every week. Maybe we can start up on it.
