why I choose advertising industry

I’ve worked in advertising industry for five years. At first, I just thought people who make advertising are cool creative ones filling of passion.

My fist job was project executive in a Japanese ad agency. I was responsible for building and maintaining the official EC site and Tmall site of a Japanese cosmetic brand. It was quite a routine work, delivering clients’ requirements and asking designer and technique staff to complete the tasks. I felt boring so I changed my job.
My second job, which is also my current job, is in a mobile advertising company as a planner. I planned marketing plan, media plan, and create ideas on mobile. I learned news things everyday, and everything was new to me. I received and learn these new things greedily, and felt advertising appealed to me again.

I worked hard, created nice proposals, and got recognitions from both my clients and my boss. I found I’m natural fit for marketing planning. So it just took me 3 years to be a planning director. I was motivated and appreciated.

However, my company changed the business. No more cool ideas, and started to sought out revenue. We took a lot of case that even being not necessary to strategies, just all we should do is to ask media to provide proposals and integrate with them, which doesn’t make sense in terms of my career. So I’m looking up a new job, which I hope, could activate the passion of advertising that lying down dormant in my mind.

why I chose advertising industry

I’ve worked in the advertising industry for five years. At first, I just thought people who make advertising are cool, creative, and full of passion.

My fist job was project executive in a Japanese ad agency. I was responsible for building and maintaining the official EC site and Tmall site of a Japanese cosmetic brand. It was quite a routine job, taking clients’ requirements and asking designers and technical staff to complete these tasks. I felt bored so I changed my job.
My second job, which is also my current job, is in a mobile advertising company as a planner. I develop marketing and media plans, and create brand ideas for mobile platforms. Everything was new to me, so I learned news things everyday. I received and learn these new things greedily, and felt advertising appealed to me again.

I worked hard, created nice proposals, and got recognition from both my clients and my boss. I found I’m a natural fit for marketing planning. So it just took me 3 years to be a planning director. I was motivated and appreciated my new experience/my boss/this opportunity.
