Subway in Shanghai

There are 16 subway lines in Shanghai. The first line (line 1) has been built in 1993, when I was in middle school. I remember I took the subway with my classmates from renminguangchang to xujiahui to have a lunch just liked a picnic. This was our first time to take subway and we all were exciting. I still keep the old ticket of line 1 but I regretted to forget to take a photo. Before we had subway, buses and bicycles were normal traffics in Shanghai. Of course we could take taxis but there were too few taxis in Shanghai and too expensive for us in that time. From 24 years ago, it has built 16 lines here , our traffics become cheaper and convenient.
