Intriguing – something that pulls you in because it is interesting and a little unknown or mysterious

Ex. The storyline of the new movie is intriguing as there seems to be a mystery and I like mysteries

Glossy – shiny
Ex. The type of magazine is made on glossy paper

A glossy-mag – a type of magazine which is colourful and trying to catch the eye

Fascist – someone who believes in power coming from above with a lot of control
Ex. The fashion fascists are trying to tell me what to wear
Ex. I fight against the fascists as I want to control my own life

Audacity –  boldness or daring, especially with confident or arrogant disregard for personal safety, conventional thought, or other restrictions
Ex. Who gives you the audacity to go ahead without consulting me!
One of my friends gave me some cider brandy, which I haven’t tried before. I was watching a sketch show, while drinking the alcohol. After a while, I felt dizzy, then swirled. I don’t drink too much normally, so I can’t drink too much, and can’t understand the obsession of others with the wine.
