Original:

Recently my parents installed the wifi at home, which makes our deeper communication a possibility. Before that, I called back home once a week if there was no emergency and it usually lasted 20-30 minutes. Now they like to video me via wechat at any time when they are free. Thanks to it, I have saved lots of cell fees and they can see how I look like with their own eyes and show me their treasures recently. With age growing, our parents become to be cuter and cuter.

Correction:

Recently, my parents installed wifi in their home, which makes it possible for us to have a deeper communication. Before, I would call back home once per week, if there was no emergency, and it usually lasted 20-30 minutes. Now they like to video me via wechat at any time when they are free. Thanks to this, I have saved a lot of money on cell fees and we can now see each other while we speak, which also enable them to show me new things that they might have bought or new dishes that they might have cooked. As they have gotten older, my parents have become sweeter and sweeter in wanting to be more involved in my life.

Lina’s example (not a correction just an example of how i would say it)

Recently, my parents had wifi installed at their house/in their home which enable us to have a closer relationship and more open communication. Before, I would call home maybe once per week, on average, and we would talk for about 20-30 min every time. Now when they have wifi we can video call via wechat at any time when we are all free. Thanks to this I have reduced my mobile fees significantly and we also get to see each other in the eyes while we speak. It also enables us to share aspects of our lives that we couldn’t before, for example, new things we might have bought or new dishes they have cooked etc. It makes me feel closer to them than before because I can actually see their everyday life with my own eyes. With age my parents have become sweeter and sweeter in wanting to be more involved in my life.
