Let’s further talk about my new job, actually I worked over time more than 3 days every week. It isn’s the life i wander because I have no time, I don’t like that the feeling I can not management. I thought deeply what is the propose of work? I got two aspects, one is earning money , the other one is showing personal value.

This morning, I got further meaning of showing personal value that is “making the balance of working hareder and make boss happy.“ This two days ,I have worked overtime every night even to mid-night. I was dispirited and angryed, why didn’t give me suggestion when I started to prepare the first version of proposal. but after I prepared all pages, they said it, which leaded to me to modify them totally. At that night, I said to myself that if this situation would last whole month, i would find another one job.

I went through my deck with my boss this morning, fortunately, she said “great, there is less issue need to update.”Suddent of all , I got some feeling of encouragement. I am on the way to seek my propose, and learn more to reinforce my soft skills to waiting for it.

Every week = 频率–> 现在式

To manage something is to do good management.

manage 需要宾语 –> manage something / I can’t manage anything.

a purpose = a reason, a goal

This morning, I learned further about the meaning of showing your personal value, which for me is finding a balance between working harder and making the boss happy.

CAREFUL!

your value = your worth = what you are worth 你个人的价值

your values = what you value 你的价值观

You find a balance between 2 things.

You cannot “get further something”. You “learn further about something”

These two days, I have worked overtime every night even until midnight. I was dispirited and angry. Why didn’t anyone give me suggestions when I started to prepare the first version of the proposal?

but They only gave some [suggestions] after I had prepared all the pages, which led to me to totally modify them. That night, I said to myself that if this situation would last a whole month, I would find another one job.

I have worked -> 时间不明确 –> You cannot say “These two days”

Why didn’t [WHO?] give me suggestions

I went through my powerpoint presentation with my boss this morning. Fortunately, she said “Great, there are less issues WE need to address.” All of a sudden, I got some feeling of encouragement / recognition / gratitude.

I am on the way of finding my purpose and learning more to reinforce my soft skills while looking for it.

Don’t change the subject in the middle of a sentence: “I went through my deck with my boss this morning fortunately, she said “…..” –> This should be two separate sentences.

All of a sudden

issue 可数名词 –> There is an issue. / There are issues.

You don’t update an issue, you address an issue.

on the way of doing something / of finding a purpose
