Yesterday, we watched a TV show that is about hip-hop. The TV show wanted to select the best rapper so they encouraged a lot of underground rappers to take part in this how and they gave them some topics to make them have a freestyle.

And there were 3 – they called them coaches, but I think they were more like judges than coaches – and I learned a lot of hip-hop spirit from players. The most impressive thing is real – keep it real – is the most important thing for them.

Because of the popular of the TV show, nowadays there are a lot of brands leverage hip-hop as their marketing topics, like all of sudden, most brands made a lot of advertising with hip-hop or rapper elements. I love hip-hop and I love all kinds of street cultures, because it symbolizes cool, real, freedom, personality but I don’t think brands should leverage this kind of elements just because of it becomes popular.
