Speaking exercise

In this Chinese New Year, our company launched a campaign, which is for making people communicating more with their parents after they went back home. People always say that mobile phone is the reason that we don’t communicate anymore because we seat in the same space and we just play our mobile instead of communicating with each other?.

But we think that even you put down your phone, there nothing that you can talk with your parents because the gap is not mobile phones, the gap has the generation gap, so we think on the other hand mobile can provide you a lot of ways to interact with your parents. For example you can call a luxury cars for them and take the car with them or you can book a good restaurants through mobile and have a perfect meal with them and even you can cook for them through mobile recipes application.

So we think mobile is the way you can engage with your parents in Chinese New Year so we invite 10 applications including Didi, Dianping and so on and we also invite 100 clients / brands to sponse this campaign. And the result is pretty good. Over 10 millions people know this campaign and over 1 billion people engage this campaign. They used this kind of apps to interact with their parents in different ways. And we also develop a mobile site that they can open the mobile site in one app and they can link to other apps through it’s mobile site.

So I think it’s a good thing for us to support mobile to say mobile is not evil, mobile is the way you can close to your parents.

This Chinese New Year, our company launched a campaign, which is to help people communicate more with their parents when they go back home.

People always say that mobile phones are the reason that we don’t communicate anymore, because we sit in the same space and we just play on our mobile phones instead of communicating with each other.

(different ‘we’ –> “in our company”)

But in our company, we think that even if you put down your phone, there is nothing that you can talk about with your parents because the gap is not about mobile phones, the gap is a generation gap.

So We think on the other hand that mobile phones can provide you with a lot of ways to interact with your parents. For example you can call a luxury car for them and take it with them or you can book a good restaurant through your mobile phone and have a perfect meal with them and you can even cook for them through mobile recipes application.

So we think mobile phones is/are the way you can engage with your parents on the Chinese New Year.
So we invited 10 applications including Didi, Dianping and so on and we also invited 100 clients / brands to sponsor this campaign.

And the result was pretty good. Over 10 million people learned about this campaign and over 1 million people engaged with this campaign. They used this kind of apps to interact with their parents in different ways.

And we also developed a mobile site that they could open in an app and link to other apps

So I think it’s a good thing for us to support mobile markets, to say mobile phones are not evil and that they are a way to be/get/grow closer to your parents.
