Today I want to talk about education. I think as a teacher or as a good parent, we should not teach children something but trigger their interest of curiosity. I like a sentence very much. It says that it is said by the guest of a talk show. She said “I want to explore the border of the university but I don’t want to find the border”

So I think when I heard this sentence, I felt very excited. I think it’s the meaning of life. We’re always purchase something but we don’t want to know all of the world. I hope my children can also feel that he or she should always be curious about this world.

That’s the essential thing of education.

And the second one is. Although some people say we should not limit the children do something, but I don’t think so. I think they’re always free, which is don’t be evil. That’s the basic thing that I want to tell my children most. And I want to tell him or her you can explore everything but remember don’t be evil, don’t hurt somebody, don’t hurt others just for your interest.

And the last one is the most. I will make him or her learn English and old Chinese well, because I think language is a tool, is the key to open this world. If you learn English well, you can communicate with over half the people in this world, and you can read a lot of article in English and you can learn more from this kind of articles.

It’s the same as English, if you learn old Chinese well, you can learn wisdom of our ancestors. You can know about our traditional culture and the common way Chinese people deal with each other.

So that’s the three essential points of education.

And the last one is the most important. I will make them learn English and old Chinese well, because I think language is a tool, it is the key to open this world. If you learn English well, you can communicate with over half the people in this world, and you can read a lot of articles in English and you can learn more from this kind of articles.
