One of my colleagues left the company yesterday, because she found an new position in eBay. She said she had been working for the company for more than 6 years, so she needed some fresh air and new environments. Besides that she didn’t need to do any coding work any more but focus on the work of scram master. However, as a scram master in our company, she had to do some technical work like coding. The rule maybe helpful to the company, but it means lots of extra work as a scram master and the scram work like a part-time job. Therefore some scram masters survived to transfer to be project managers, and others seized the opportunities outside the company. I don’t like coding either, but I’m still looking for what I can do besides as an engineer.
