Original:

Recently, I have been watching this new drama series called Westworld. Presented by HBO, with the star crew including Anthony Hopkins, Jonathan Nolan and J.J.Abrams, it received heated and wide attention even before its official release.
Inspired by a 1973 movie, Westworld is a high-tech amusement park where people can experience the fake life they desire in the realest way. Because it is full of artificial hosts who would not really die or remember anything, the tourists can literally do anything there they want. “It explores a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged.”(hbo. com)
Those Hosts talk in scripted languages, live in looped storylines. They are killed and raped mercilessly just because they are not real and nobody cares their feelings. However one day some of them wake up consciously.
The plot is definitely fascinating to me, but at first I was nearly bored to hell when I kept waiting for the exciting parts of robot revolution and I was so confused by its two vaguely set time lines. Later by the support of other viewers’ review, I refound the interest and finished the first season. And so far there is just no hint of hope at all in this twisted and dark world.
