Vocabulary

Frugal – careful with money (e.g. A lot of people think that Shanghainese people are very frugal but I think they just don’t want to waste their money on things that don’t matter.)

We were the biggest city in the far east we are the centre of the culture and eco in the far east, people could watch the movie that was release in america at the same time. If you were in the 1930 in Shanghai you could see people listen and dance to jazz, because of Shanghai was a colony because it was a colony our culture is combination of eastern and western. you can the buildings there are a lot of different building styles. Its a fusion of western and eastern style. Most people think Shanghainese people are mean but actually we are smart. People think we don’t want to use a lot of money but I think we don’t want to waste a lot of money. We donate a lot for the poor region and the place were disaster happen and we contribute a big part of GDP to China. The last I want to introduce is the shaolong bao. I think there is a philosophy, its meat in the middle and something surround it, its like the culture of Shanghai, it contains everything. You should eat that very carefully because the soup is pretty hot like you should do everything carefully because if you miss something something bad will happen to you so that’s my hometown.
