Suppose:  guess so/ assume

“It’s on them”: it’s their responsibility. / it’s their job.

“lunch is on me”:  I will buy lunch.

 

Divide into

  • More mathematical, each group is equal in numbers.

Form:  to make/shape sth./ arrange/organize.

Deliver/delivered/delivering

Eg.  I want to get lunch delivered to me.

Eg.  I am having my lunch delivered.

Eg.  They are delivering it right now.

Eg.  The driver will deliver me my lunch.

“to go”:  when you get your food and take it to eat it later.

Eg.  Can I get this to go?

Eg.  I need this to go.

Occasion: like a special/specific occasion.

  • A wedding

  • Interview
  • Formal dinner

 

Condition:  a state of health/ a form of something.

Eg.  The man is in good condition considering he was just in a car accident.

Eg.  I want to live somewhere that has nice conditions.

Situation:  any situation/any combination of circumstances.

Proper/appropriate

Eg.  She was properly dressed for the occasion.

Eg.  She was wearing appropriate clothing for the occasion.

I like it best – I like it the most/It’s my favorite.

 

Figure out: to solve/ to find a solution.

Eg.  I have to figure out how I will get to work on Sunday.

Freak out:  to panic/ to go crazy about something/ to be scared.

Eg.  My mom will freak out if I come home with dirty clothes.

Eg.  I got freaked out by the spider.

Addicted:  you feel an urge to do it/have it.

Eg.  I am addicted to coffee.

Tapping:  to make a tap tap sound.

Baggage/luggage – already plural. (baggages luggages)

Plural:  more than one.

Suitcase (singular) suitcases (plural)

Luggage.

Eg. I have to carry my suitcases up the stairs. (more than one)

Eg.  I have to carry my luggage up the stairs (more than one suitcase)

I’m so sad these days because I broke my iPhone when I was running. It fell on the ground and the screen cracked. I have to send it to Apple Store to fix. It’s so unconvient as they told me it will maybe spend 1 week. Now I’m thinking about what to use when I am uploading the article of open f2f to the service. and it will also impact my work. i use outlook in the phone every day and if without it, i will probably miss the email and meeting reminder. It make me down so much.
