Literally, the phrase to run into someone means to run and crash into another person. As an idiom, the phrase to run into someone means to meet up with someone without planning it.

To pay it forward means to do something for someone else that someone did for you.

Ex. If you bought me lunch last week, I may buy someone else lunch this week to pay it forward.
