Open F2F Class notes 22nd July (Eddie)

to cope = to manage, or to deal with, to find a way to live with something we are unable to change

E.g. my bike is broken so i found a way to cope by  taking public transport

When I first came to Shanghai, I found the traffic impossible. So I decided to buy an electric scooter.

disability = lack of ability, handicap

E.g.
She never let her disability stop her from enjoying life.

I learned software for three years and planned to find a job in the movie industry /related to movie making. I was lucky to have been able to. (because I did it.) There are lots of people who do this job or want to do this job, but I think some of them do not really like it. / are not really committed to it.
