lost in translation– when the meaning of something gets mixed up because it is difficult to translate

eg. I wrote the story but when they translated it the meaning was lost in translation.

eg. Sometimes things get lost in translation when you travel and don’t speak the language.

An American man drugged after he broke up with his girlfriend. After he occasionally read a Chinese fantastic novel, he was attracted. He scanned a lot of websites in order to translate Chinese to English. He was scanning translation websites while he was take medicine to give up drugs. He finally succeed in giving up drugs after chasing 15 novels. He said that he used to remember these drugs when he went home, but now I am thinking Chinese novels on my way home.
