Grammar

An Infinitive verb is a “to” verb, such as to go, to run, and to watch. Infinitive verbs have no subject (no I/you/we/it/he/she/they). When we have a verb in its infinitive form, we have to conjugate it for a subject. 不定式 = infinitive.

Ex. The infinitive verb “to want” conjugated for the subject “he” is “he wants.”

Present Continuous Tense: The infinitive verb “to work” conjugated in the present continuous tense for the subject “I” is “I am working.”

Pronunciation

Progress (As a verb, pruh-GRESS. As a noun, its PRAW-gress)

Present (As a verb, pre-ZENT. As a noun, PREH-zint)

Sometimes we may fight over something, but most of the time we cooperate to develop our economy in many ways. Developing finance is the most important thing for us; no one should be homeless or without water. So no war I hope.
