Vocabulary


Suburban – located in the suburbs

Rush-hour – the two periods of time, usually 7:00 and 18:00, when people are going to and returning from work, respectively.

Respectively – in the listed order

Ex. Peter and Liam are Arabic and Chinese, respectively.

Respectfully – with respect

Commute – verb or noun, the trip to and from a place, usually school or work

Ex. My commute to work is an hour and a half.

Overwhelming – too much to handle
