it was a 2 person (ADJ.) breakfast voucher – When you use a number as an ADJ, use the singular form of the word following it. In this example Person is the singular form.

it was a 15 minute drive – Minute is used as singular. Because it describes the N. a drive

my son is an eight year old boy – year  is singular for the N. boy

In China, most people think parents are the most important for us. It make sense! I agree with this opinion.
Chinese parents always give their all to their children. For example, when a woman is pregnant, she starts to consider how to give the baby the best things, like which brand of the milk powder and diapers. When the baby is born, her (his) mother focuses on how to choose suitable toys and books for her baby. When the baby grows up, she considers about her(his) education. And, job, marriage …so on.
Chinese parents are the greatest! They try their best to do everything for their children.

Correction – 

In China, most people think highly of their parents and always respect their elders. It makes perfect sense and I agree with this opinion.

For example, when a woman is pregnant, she starts to consider how to provide the best things for the baby, like which brand of formula and diapers to buy. When the baby is born, his or her mother focuses on how to choose good toys and books for her baby. When the baby grows up, the mother considers their education, activities, job and marriage. Chinese parents are the greatest! They try their best to do everything for their children.
