It is true that the Earth has been damaged since humans became the top predator of the world, but I think it’s also a natural process for human to will to survive. The core problem that we need to deal with is how to find a balance and to achieve the sustainable development goal.
For example, tons of factories can cause pollution but we can’t just shut them down because of the economy. It is also related to our politics and the competition amongst them. We can’t just halt our growth but we need to find a way to minimize our impact.
