Vocabulary

Grief (n): deep sadness, especially that caused by someone’s death.
E.g.: She was overcome with grief after her mother’s death.

Denial  (n): 1- the action of declaring something to be untrue. 2- the refusal of something requested or desired
E.g.: The city government has been criticized for its denial of the seriousness of the situation.

Trauma (n): 1- a terribly disturbing experience that may leave emotional marks for a long time.
E.g.: She never fully recovered from the traumas she suffered during her childhood.

Fantasy (n): 1- an imagined story of fiction, especially one involving fantastic creatures or events  2- imagination, especially when extravagant and unrestrained. 3- a mental image, especially when unreal or fantastic
