Chinese E-commerce market

It is no secret that China has the largest E-commerce market. There is a dramatic rise of grocery stores/businesses in China via E-commerce. Certainly,  E-commerce platforms have already been established, which are numerous/various and convenient. Chinese people love buying cheap things online. Because of this, EC has created a shopping culture that has turned Chinese people into shopping addicts, for example, Single’s Day.

Chinese consumers are typically purchasing imported products from a wide range of international online retail players. Some retailers are starting to build their brand’s E-commerce websites and developing their social commerce channels. Additionally, Chinese consumers are frequently moving across channels, platforms and devices when they do their online shopping and are increasingly seeking an integrated shopping experience. So omni-channel platforms and brands should provide convenient and satisfying experiences, so that they can get more business. But at the end of the day, it will be price, quality and delivery that will bring repeated business.
