I attended her sister’s wedding

the bride’s family held a dinner

it started very early

Their grandparents woke up early and they prepared milk tea. It is salty and also they prepare the meat and dumplings and snacks

the best men need to play some games like fighting with us and to hit the door or pass some tests and then they can get the bride.
During this process the groom wants to show he has power to protect and he is strong and he really hopes to get the lady.
my friend and I stood in front of the door and we pretended we need to stop them from going in directly

This is something I never experienced before but I don’t think it is like stupid games.
It is a traditional wedding.
It is different from the contemporary wedding.

The dress is different from the Qipao.
At the beginning they need to wear pajamas when they do makeup and then they changed into the Mongolian traditional outfit and then into a white dress and then finally in the night they wore the casual style like a red qipao.

I attended on the side of the bride so I never saw what happened with the groom. I only remember he changed 2 outfits.
They told me in the early tradition they had a celebration and it included dancing but nowadays due to covid, the government limits the size of the event.
So they mostly use the food to celebrate ->They have meals to celebrate. / they share a meal to celebrate
Nowadays inner Mongolia already has heating so I prepared very thick clothes and down jacket but we only stayed inside and it was warm.
I think the winter experience in northern China is better than SH.
I believe in 2018 it was the coldest in my memory. There was snow in December.

this year is the Spanish year.
Last year my cat got a disease in December.
I went to the vet and wore a lot of clothes

When I took the train from Weshan and inner Mongolia.
In the train I realized we have a lot of things we didn’t experience but now I am working online and using digital things everyday.
I looked like I was stuck in the digital world

In the real world we have a lot of things to explore.
If I had not made the decision to go to these 2 trips I would not have been able to imagine how good the air quality is.

The real experience is much more immersive than the virtual world.
I am looking forward to seeing what kind of changes it brings to connect people together but I think the real world has more things. / is deeper

Gen Z is the digital generation so one of my friend sent me a link on youtube, it is about before 2000. A video report of the world trade building visiting experience.
People had no phone.
This video made me feel scared. It looked like history. / it looked so old.
Especially the young people they cannot imagine the world without phones

How do they get directions

it is how to transition virtual belonging into private property.
I believe 50/50 and the metaverse has bad parts. / drawbacks.
For my last experience in the train I believe the virtual world we are establishing will consume a lot of reality.
And energy or something like that.
For example we use emojis and it looks like if I write a letter to you and use paper the numbers / the quantity of pages  make me think I am not ready but for young people they like to send 3 emojis together so actually we don’t have a real experience for the 3 emojis but it is a feedback and it wastes more like the cloud

I think in the metaverse we are going to waste more energy. I don’t think it is sustainable.
Maybe they figure out a better solution for this. I also saw a concept.
In that presentation I don’t see the future, it is an old concept.
I believe the reason why they need to push this, one reason is survival and another reason is covid  made it come faster. / sped up their plans
