Speaking exercise

The big boss has many annual dinners to join so we have to follow his schedule. / We have to adapt to our boss schedule because he has to join all the annual dinners across China.

In total we have maybe around 40 offices in China.

The main city of each province has an office. / We have an office in each regional capital.

For South China all the branches celebrate together so the employees in GZ , Zhongshan and Zhuhai all come/gather to SZ for the annual dinner.

We seldom have the chance to meet all the colleagues. There is also a lucky draw. There are gifts and also some cash.
Not everyone can win the lucky draw but it is exciting.

There are team buildings but it is for 1 department, not for all the colleagues. / We don’t usually share team buildings with other departments
we have the chance to meet all the colleagues across all the departments only during the annual dinner.

Compared to other countries there are not many parades.
Many years ago there was a protest for people against Japanese products / Many years ago people wanted to boycott Japanese products and joined a protest.

In my hometown during the CNY there was parade.

Being a restorer must be hard, I think the work must be very boring.
I didn’t have the chance to travel to the desert so it is difficult to imagine what it is like.
