I was in Japan for 7 days, it was snowing when I was there.
I was in Nagoya and I also visited some small towns around it.

When I want to choose a place to relax I always choose Japan. I like the hot springs and the food.

I tried a local specialty but I cannot name it / I don’t remember the name, it is very famous. It is fried pork and some miso sauce.

There is one impact traveling to there because airlines are not that frequent compared before pandemic, it is quite expensive than before pandemic

-> There was a big change compared to before the pandemic, there are not as many flights as before  / airlines operate less flights between SH and JP than before so they are more expensive.

I am not that interested in Russia but my husband is interested in their history.

The old generation like my parents they read a lot … when they were educated a lot about communist things from the old USSR. -> During their youth they learned about the Russian communist system.
For those people who are familiar with that history they feel excited when they visit Russia. / people who went through that period of history feel a special connection with Russia.

based on my understanding Russia puts too much resources in the military / Russia over allocates their resources to the military sector
so it could be a big burden for the whole country’s development.

The country needs to spend on the military to defend themselves but I think it also needs to assess themselves economically.

it is an endless investment, it is a money pit.

I feel confused why there is no other candidate for the presidency.

The day I was supposed to fly back I was notified it was cancelled due to safety issues.
I didn’t know why but was worried so I had to book another flight but couldn’t book any so I booked a HK flight and travelled from HK to SH.
when I transferred in HK I grabbed a newspaper and the headline read and it said he sent a missile to Syria.

I gave up because I was too busy, According to other classmates who went there they felt it was quite safe and not that dangerous.
There are a lot of people who use drugs. / drug usage is very common there.
