Speaking exercise

I have no idea about this policy but I know in our company if there are unclaimed packages they will be disposed of but I don’t know long we keep them. / I don’t know how long the claiming window is.
A third party will dispose of them.

The unclaimed package situation is we cannot find the receiver and if the package is returned to the sender the cost is too high so they give up the package. -> Most of the time we have unclaimed packages when we cannot find the receiver and the sender does not want to pay the return fee.
Most are in this situation. / this is the most common situation.

It is not very common but at the end of each year we have the chance to source a third party to dispose of them.

I am not familiar with that process.

you can check the order
you can check the delivery status.

I think it is ok to sell them but it would be better if the time people have to claim / claim window was longer.

They should have a third party who investigates what’s in the package first and then decides which package can be sold and which should be disposed of.  It is a good way if it can be recycled and sold.
