We have to add employees but before 2 months just 3 people left. -> we had to hire/recruit new employees because 3 people left
In the 2 months I had to recruit and train new employees as soon as possible.

The jobs have the bonus , maybe January. -> This is not a good time to hire people because people who already have a job are waiting for the end of year bonus before quitting or moving to another company.

We have 7 people now but our store’s headcount is 9.

In our store the new employees have 2 weeks during which they don’t sell anything / they don’t do business. -> In their first 2 weeks new employees don’t sell anything, they just learn about the paperwork and the products.

People we hire already have some working experience so they mostly have to learn about the products. / we hire experienced salespeople
The store manager listens to the employees talking to the customers. If they make a mistake  the manager then talks to the employee.

In the 2 months I also went to a retail seminar in Beijing.

All the China store managers and our Shanghai office employees together to learning something and we have to do PPT and introduct our store and what we did this year -> For this seminar all the store managers / management employees in China and the office employees in SH gathered in Beijing. We learned new things together and we had to introduce our store and talk about what we achieved this year.
The other mostly listened they didn’t ask many questions.

Goyard products are very famous and the customers are willing to wait for a bag for a long time.
In the last 2 months the board came to visit Nanjing and the owner had never been to Nanjing before. / it was the first time the owner visited Nanjing.
He is about 70 years old.
He visited all the Chinese stores.

Our CEO can speak English so he translated our feedback to him.
We told him we wanted more products.

Before the board came to Nanjing we had to clean the store and make sure we have bags in stock.
We one month change the display ->we change the display once a month and we tidy everyday.

On that day we were opened to the public, the owner wanted to see our customer but he came too early and the store was empty.

I don’t really like Beijing but I’m not really sure why.
I have been to Beijing many many times, with my previous job I often had to go there on business trips.

There is no fixed time for the seminar but in January I need to go to the Asia seminar in HK.
maybe we need to prepare. For the board visit my line manager asked me to use English / asked me to speak in English.

The last time they came was in 2021 before Covid
But the last time the CEO just visited Chengdu, Beijing and SH.
