I had a vacation in July and came back to work and went to BJ.
The temperature was between 10-20.
I wore a t-shirt there and felt it was quite cool. / chilly

Tom has never had Chinese food (presnet perfect) -> present perfect is used to talk about the past which has an influence on the present
