Maybe I am the only one who hasn’t caught the virus.

I knew from January next year the level of the covid 19 will be decreased so if you catch that virus after that day you cannot enjoy the break with full pay.

If you catch that after January 8 you need to have the sick leave but you cannot get full pay.

I have been working from home for about 2 weeks.
On weekends I also went out to meet friends but
before working from home two of my colleagues caught the virus  and I am ok
I had lunch with a friend and she catch covid a day after our lunch but I’m still ok.

Last week I have some flue like symptoms but I checked with a covid test and I am sure I didn’t catch it.

I have 2 times. The last time I get the vaccine is about 1 year before.

I will go back to the office next week.

Most of my friends caught that virus and if I go out I can only go out by myself.
I think maybe I will stay at home.

Actually I did that every year but I think I didn’t achieve most of them.
For this year I achieved 2 goals. The first one is I began to improve my spoken English and I have made some progress and another one is at the beginning of the year I tend to read some books every months and I did that.

I had a lot of different types for example some books related to my career or something professional.
Some artistic books and detectives fictions.

I prefer to read the real books but I think this year most books I read are ebooks.
Ebooks are more convenient for us to read.

I have thought about that but haven’t decided. I plan to do that this Saturday, it is the last day of this year.

For the spring festival I have 7 days holiday.
I think maybe I will have another one or 2 yearly leave for that holiday because I will go home to celebrate that festival with my parents.

I plan to go back 2 or 3 days before the holiday. Most people begin their holiday from the day before the holiday.
I think it is ok, I know plane tickets is easy to buy but it will be very expensive.

Usually I go back by train but I think for my hometown it is not difficult to buy the ticket.
I usually go back twice a year, for the spring festival and for national day.

These 2 times we have the longest holiday.
In other holidays I prefer to have some yearly leave and go out with some of my friends on some trips.

For one thing Shandong is colder in winter than SH so we have central heating.
I think during winter living in Shandong is more comfortable.
The air … is not even the hot air it produces

The hot air produced by the AC tends to concentrate in one place / spot.
Another difference. In SH they have new years eve dinner with different types of food but in Shandong we just eat dumplings.
I think dumplings are not so easy to make, actually I prefer a normal dinner.
For the spring festival most people do it by themselves.
Especially for the sping festival eve we make the dumplings with special things.
When we eat it we will pick it out. it brings you luck for the next year  / it is like a lucky charm.

In the first 3 days of the new year we eat dumpling

I don’t remember wether it is limited in urban areas.
Because my grandpa and grandma passed away 3 years ago so these years we didn’t have fireworks.
I think we can do it.
I remember I saw such news from the government that we can have that during the spring festival but maybe we can’t have fireworks during regular times.
