We ate in a restaurant and some people had covid so they said we were contact cases.

they contacted us last Thursday and they said we are contact case for something that happened on Oct 2

So we started this lockdown on Oct 7

We didn’t know anything about this until Thursday and now Friday we finally understood what they told us

I thought it was people who tried to sell you something. / I thought they were just cold calling me to sell something

Finally they sent one message in English if not I would have just kept hanging up

she tried to explain me in Chinese and I said I don’t buy and decided to hang up 
Finally on Friday we realized what happened. And on Saturday they explained everything

The first 3 days when you don’t know what happened … normally the Shanghai rules are 7 days of quarantine. So we almost had the 7 days already / 7 days had almost passed and they said you need to go to the hotel.

Now finally we had a talk with the Spanish Consulate and a Chinese girl explained to us.

Finally there are a lot of people that they need to take the hotel so maybe they don’t have space for us. / maybe they don’t have vacancies
We were waiting for 2 days with our suitcases prepared.

The first day we were waiting and they didn’t arrive, finally we decided no let’s go to sleep because no one came.

Every night we talked about this. The second day they said there are a lot of people and so we don’t know when we can take you to the hotel.
We noticed when they came and made us do the PCR We had one a sensor on the door.
So maybe we can do the quarantine at home.

Now we are here.

It is like in March, there are a lot of buildings in quarantine.

Some people who work or have that kind of work and need to do a lot of trips I don’t know how they can live all the time in quarantine. / how they deal with quarantine / how they cope with quarantine

It is ok we are in our last 2 months in SH.

Sometimes you need to think about that, how long they will continue this situation it is impossible to contain the virus.

I am afraid now because we don’t want to have any other issues before we leave / we don’t want to get in troubles again before we leave
If we have some problems with all our things it would be very troublesome  / annoying

before it had some mirrors but I removed it all and converted it into drawers
