Speaking exercise

I take one day off from my annual leave.
I have another class for

you standing in the plate and you control the plate to play with this pate
I am just a new beginner. I think this activity is popular in shanghai recently.

It is nearly 500 for nearly 1h.

Maybe somebody thinks playing skateboard on the street is strange and now it is popular and fancy.

maybe because of celebrity or KOL. They play the skateboard and record videos and publish this video on some social media such as tik tok and then this activity become very popular.

Maybe after today’s class I can ask my teacher and he can give me the answer.
He said he had 9y experience for teaching the skateboard.

From what I know I think it is more boys than girls.
My boss told me most of them are gay.

I think only very popular in SH or BJ. I don’t think there are a lot of people know this activity in some tier 2 or tier 3 cities.

Maybe my hometown Wuhan, I talked with my girlfriend and they don’t find it interesting.

For boys it is basketball and for girls maybe just running. Maybe for those older generations table tennis.

Maybe because it is not fancy like basket ball. If a guy he plays basketball he can show his muscles and good shape body but ping pong is not so fancy.

I think men dream about basketball and football.
Those sports have long history and another reason because those 2 activities are mature in western countries. They have clubs so a lot of young teenagers follow the clubs and watch the match. Maybe they are affected by the culture.

The shape of culture needs time. Those 2 sports start from 19 century. It have longer history. Even you see we don;t have table tennis clubs or table tennis matches in China.

I think young teenagers they are crazy about the e-sports. Men and boys. They watch the matches and even support those players.
Even those players become the celebrities they can represent deals and get advertising deals.
Some mainstream brands like clothes and cosmetics.

Maybe those game players can represent some emotions such as they never give up and are competitive which have connections with those young teenagers.
