Speaking exercise

Yesterday I read some information from the Chinese customs.
It is how to define the most important policies for the people who want to leave and go overseas. / they clarified on the policies for people to leave the country

Their official reply is you can promise you will not come back before the Chinese covid outbreak ends. If you can promise and sign some documents at the customs if you hold a temporary visa they will let you go. / the official reply is that provided/as long as you promise not to return to China before the outbreak is over you will be allowed to leave.

last time I mentioned to you in GZ they are more strict

Different cities they explain the policy differently -> different cities understand the policy differently and their explanations are different. / different cities interpret the policy differently.

Before next year spring festival SH covid outbreak will be under control / will have ended

Actually I will pick my parents up and we will go to Australia together.
They don’t have the permanent residence visa so it is difficult for them

For some graduated students who are below 28 it will be much easier.
The Australian immigration rules are so tricky
It is based on your occupation, age , education level and career background and financial status. / they have a point system based on your occupation, age , education level and career background and financial status

The most points you can get for age is 23 to 28 / for age you get the most points when you are young and it then keeps decreasing.

in the past 65 points was enough but this year different industries have different standards.
If you major in the medical industry, the points required are around 80

but if you major is accounting you need at least 95.

Another problem is that while you can get the most points for age if you are young, you will not get much points for your working experience because haven;t worked for a long time yet.  So for someone to get a balanced results is difficult.

You can get residence by investment if you invest in some government funds for the mining industry but the amount starts from AUD2,5M. / they have golden visa program but you need to invest …

Dear Principle,

I hope this email finds you well.
I am writing this email to enquire about the enrollment for my daughter.

We are a family from Shanghai China and we will relocate to Brisbane on August 10.
We are interested in WESS and would like to book a tour in that week if possible.

My daughter, Ziyuan Yao, whose D.O.B is Dec 08, 2016 holds permanent residence visa. We hope to apply for Prep-level this year and start her class in September.

I worry about her English level, she has learnt some phonics for 6 months in Shanghai and knows the alphabet. She may not be comfortable in the class at the beginning. She is also a sensitive girl and needs a lot of attention and encouragements. So I wonder if there is some language support available in the school for overseas students at the beginning to help them get involved in the current class. / to help them integrate the class better.

Please refer to the attached filled-in enrollment form for further details. I have also included our apartment sales contract copy to certify local catchment. The visa and birth certificate of my daughter have been attached as well.

I apologize that other related documents such as water, electricity or gas bill/ utility bills and my telephone number have to be supplemented once we arrive in Brisbane.

It would be very appreciated if you could give me some advice for enrollment and I am looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,
Yanjing (Grace)
