Normally I  go on  vacation / take a vacation and  leave SH every spring festival.
I live / stay in a hotel in Suzhou.
I must provide/show a negative report test within 48h and give it to them then check in.  / I can only check in if I have a 48h negative test report.

You know recently if you want to do a test you wait 2-3 h it is a long time.
There are 1,000 people waiting to do a test at the hospital.

I am very unhappy.

Last October we booked a spring festival dinner. We must get together with the family.

It is a tradition in China.
Last year you had to book early.
If you don’t book early it is full.

We always book in October every year.
When we book we pay a deposit and you don’t know the menu.

We are about 10 people
We just spend spring festival dinner we are together

In China, Celebrating the Spring Festival, Traditionally, We like to spend time with our families. My holiday is during the Spring Festival, Starting Jan,24 to Feb,8. Shanghai is on alert for new Covid cases, If I leave SH to go to another place I have to quarantine for 14 days or show negative report within 48 hours, So I am staying put this holiday, I hope my vacation can harvest some high-quality sleep and happiness time alone.
