Today I will introduce my company to you, the company I work for is called Loreal. Loreal is established in French in 1907, and it is established by a person called almond shelale, she created a healthy hair dye for the first time and shook/amazed the industry earned his name in the industry. In 1997, Loreal came to China and became the biggest cosmetic company in China and they bought a lot of brand like Lancome and Loreal Paris.

The main business areas for Loreal covers mostly cosmetics, we have four divisions in our company, we divided our brand into 4 parts, including luxury division, consumer product division, active consumer division and PPD. I think there are many opportunities/potential for Loreal to grow/expand their business, especially in today’s life, we have online and offline sales channels for the consumers. After the Corona Virus, we are paying more attention on the online channels like DY, TM and JD. I think the opportunity is that emerging technology applications will better support our business to customise better products and services to better serve our consumers needs, hence, improving sales performance.

The headwind for Loreal in China is that there are too many brands competing in the same market segment, so it is important that we emphasis on building consumers loyalty and keep them engaged/ interested, which might be tough for a cosmetic company. But last year is our 25th anniversary for Loreal China (we celebrated Loreal China’s 25th anniversary), and we won an award as we sold the highest volume of products in the whole of Asia. So we are confident as Loreal continues on its effort in the digital transformation in the future and I’m sure we will be a winning company in China, we have great prospects in China. (we will have bigger improvement in the future.)
