The Picnic

Amy and her family went on a picnic. They brought a basket of food, drinks, and a blanket. They found a nice spot by the lake and set up their picnic.

Amy ate a sandwich, chips, and an apple. She drank lemonade. Her little brother had a hot dog and a soda. Her parents had sandwiches and water.

After eating, they went for a walk by the lake. They saw ducks swimming and fish jumping. Amy skipped rocks and tried to catch butterflies.

Then, they played games like frisbee and catch. Amy’s dad even brought a kite to fly. It was so much fun!

As the sun started to set, they packed up their things and headed home. Amy was tired but happy. She told her family it was the best picnic ever.
