Vocabulary

synonym (n): a word or phrase that has the same or nearly the same meaning as another word or phrase in the same language
同义词，近义词
The words “small” and “little” are synonyms.
small 和 little 是同义词。

antonym (n): a word that means the opposite of another word
反义词
Two antonyms of “light” are “dark” and “heavy”.
light 的两个反义词是 dark 和 heavy。

odd adjective (NUMBERS)
(of numbers) not able to be divided exactly by two
奇数的，单数的
3, 5, and 7 are all odd numbers.
3， 5， 7都是奇数。
The houses on this side of the street all have odd numbers.
街道这边的房子都是单号的。

even adjective (NUMBER)
forming a whole number that can be divided exactly by two
偶数的，双数的
6 is an even number and 7 is an odd number.
6是偶数，7是奇数。
