Revised: I’d like to share the worst dining experience of mine in this writing. It was on a weekend many years ago, my brother told my family that he had a discount coupon for a well-known hotpot restaurant near our house/nearby, and he suggested that we could have dinner there. His suggestion sounded nice/attractive/appealing, so me, my mom, my brother and his girlfriend went to that restaurant together.

After ordering/placing our order, we noticed our tableware/cutlery was not clean, such as when I picked my chopsticks I felt they were greasy, I was surprised by it because this restaurant is a chain restaurant, compared to others, this restaurant didn’t offer any packaged sterilized tableware or disposed chopsticks to customers.

Revised: After ordering/placing our order, we noticed our tableware/cutlery was not clean, the chopsticks were greasy, the cups had stains on them, and ……..  I was surprised by it because it was a well-known chain restaurant. Compared with others, this restaurant didn’t offer any packaged sterilized tableware or disposable chopsticks to customers.

Anyway, it was a little thing so we just simply complained about it and wiped our chopsticks clean ourselves, then started to enjoy the meal. The restaurant was full during the peak time, and it seemed that they didn’t have enough staff including waiters and people in their kitchen to serve customers well, and you could see every restaurant staff was in a hurry. Therefore,we had to wait for some dishes for a long time and followed up them repeatedly, but we still hadn’t received one of our orders after we finished our meal, then we tell a waitress they left out of it and please returned it because we were about to pay the bill.

Revised: Anyway, it was a little/petty/trivial thing so we just simply complained about it and wiped our chopsticks clean ourselves, then started to enjoy the meal. The restaurant was full during the peak time, and it seemed that they were understaffed, and you could see every restaurant staff was in a hurry.
