Shen yu, who was an ex-book editor, worked in book industrial for more than 10 yrs in SH. He represents more and more people like to read internet literature.

虽然这些作品大多很有趣，但缺乏深度和艺术价值。在疫情期间，人们需要从娱乐作品中寻求安慰，这类作品通常是主人公历经艰难最终在情感上和事业上双丰收的故事走向。

Although most of these works are interesting, but they are lack of deep thinking and art value. During Covid time, people need to ….. from the entertaining works. This kind of works always tell about a man finally get the success of emotion and vacation parts at the same time after throughing hard period.

Shen Yu, a former book editor based in Shanghai, who has observed the book industry for more than a decade, says more people read online literature, which is entertaining but lacks in-depth artistic value. During Covid, people need to seek comfort in entertaining works, in which the protagonist go through difficult times/challenges and achieve success in a romantic relationship and in his/her professional domain/area/field.
