scientifically-proven – it means that scientists have done experiments to show that something is true/right

ex. This drink has been scientifically-proven to make you look more handsome.

verify – to check

ex. I want to verify your ID/identity.

ex. They want to verify that ghosts are real.

staged – it’s all acting, not real

ex. They found that all the videos are staged and the ghost turned out to be fake.

misinterpret – when you misunderstand the meaning of sth/mistake one thing for another

hallucinate – when your brain imagines/is seeing things

ex. She’s starting to hallucinate because she hasn’t slept for 5 days.
