Vocabulary

case (noun) – an example of something occurring
There were two cases of COVID-19

we use the words ‘positive’ and ‘negative’ backwards when we talk about medical test results.
A positive test result is bad and a negative test result is good.

rigid (adj) – opposite of relaxed
The policies in other places are rigid

vaccinate (verb) – to give someone a vaccination
The doctors vaccinate patients

be vaccinated (passive voice) – to get a vaccination
I was vaccinated
