Vocabulary

Costume / Halloween costume – the clothes we wear to look like something

yolk – the yellow part of the egg
I like to eat Zongzi with duck egg yolk

jack-o-lantern – the pumpkin with a face
We made jack-o-lanterns for halloween

thick – the opposite of thin

I found 3 clothes for him to try
I found 3 sets of clothes for him to try – clothes is an uncountable plural noun

Pronunciation

halloween – the first vowel is an /æ/ sound like the start of /æpple/
