In today’s class we talked about your paintings and pictures.

Pronunciation

moon – put your lips together for the first sound, then make an oo sound, touch your tongue to the top teeth for the end. do not touch your lips for the last sound. do not touch the teeth while you are making the oo sound.

earth – the first sound is /ə/ like the sound at the beginning of America. Put your tongue between your teeth for the last sound. You don’t need to say the /r/

world – you need to say the /l/ clearly. If the /l/ sound is not clear, you are saying ‘word’ and not ‘world’.

Vocabulary
