Online Class Notes (Joe)

In today’s class we talked about Dodo’s books. One thing we really focused on was using ‘such as’ and ‘like’ instead of ‘such like’.

Pronunciation

Oxford – make sure the first vowel is /ɒ/ not /æ/

Shows – vowel is /əʊ/
Shoes – vowel is /uː/

We should focus more on using the helping verbs like ‘don’t’, ‘doesn’t’, ‘have’ and ‘has’ because you made some mistakes with these in our conversation.
