Vocabulary

universal (adj) – general / common
The universal truth is that it’s colder in winter than in summer

universally (adv)
It is universally accepted that good health is important

contrast (n/v) – very different from something else
In contrast to my other friends, Sally is rich.
(My other friends are not rich. Sally is rich)

relatively (adv) – when compared to something else
Sally is relatively rich compared to my other friends
(My other friends are not rich. Sally is not rich either. But, she is the richest)

courageous (adj) – not afraid of danger
You need to be courageous to work with lions

idealistic (adj) – an unrealistically optimistic view of the world
I was idealistic when I was younger
